DAY-who cares any more?

Some people come into your life as a lesson and others as a blessing, then there are others who are both. Today’s blog post is about one such person.

Let me start with a confession, she is my first long term relationship. It is at times like this I begin to question my sexuality, but honestly she is my first grown up relationship.

When we first became friends i felt like “oh wow I know some cool people” as days passed by I figured this is Austin town maat kari manja sor figure, but the cool quotient did not drop, she was cool alright. She was my kind of cool, pacha tamil cool.

I was 15 years old when I met her, now I’m 22 years old, wow ive known her for too long. I am not going to make this a post where I narrate all the anecdotes from our lives, there are hundred million things I’ve told you, but there are a billion things I wish I had told you earlier…but better late than never right?

So here goes, Sonu Vajira you made me believe that love is magic, you made me see how beautiful relationships can be, you replaced my amma so many times, you wiped the tears off my face whilst bawling your eyes off, you taught me to have fun, you gave me a makeover which really did change my life, you stood by my side laughing when I was throwing tantrums, you pulled out rainbows to make the rain clouds go away,you made me cry, you made me want to indulge in pre-marital sex(just kidding,but its true) you made me miss you like a mad person, you made me beg and plead, you taught me the hardest lessons in life and then you came back to see if I had truly learnt the lesson…when u saw that I did, you went away again.

I have bitched about you to anyone who would listen to me, but I always ended it with…she is not the sonu I know. The girl I knew was a fucking crazy mofo who would do anything for her friends. Something was terribly wrong with you this past year child, I think you needed Jesus in your life.

Just when I thought I had lost her forever  something crazy happened, traces of my old pal started surfacing and then there was no looking back..the Austin town figure was back on track..this time better than before….

I just want to say don’t let anything come in between you and your girlfriends..we are here to stay and we are here for you..i don’t want you to cut yourself again but if you did and I was out of the country I would take the next flight to take you to chinmayi hospital…

You were family, you still are  and you will always be. Here is to one hundred more years of friendship …scratch that..the rate at which we take “tea breaks” I would say thirty more years off  sex ed,organic stuffs,non-organic stuffs and butt loads of laughter.

How can I end it in English after calling you family ??  uravugal thodar kadhai..indha natpu innum thodarum.
